Find Roommates in Los Angeles with MeetMingleMove

Looking for a roommate can be a frustrating task. Even if you find the right price, location, and amenities, your roommate may turn out to be inconsiderate, loud, or annoying. MeetMingleMove is aiming to create an easy, fun, and social way to help you find your next roommate.

The goal is to add an offline social element to the roommate-finding process. MeetMingleMove holds mixers where you can meet multiple people at once, saving valuable time. Many of the mixers also include other moving resources, such as information on available properties, fitness facilities in the area, or moving companies to help you make a smooth transition. It aims to be the one-stop shop for all your moving needs. The events are held twice per month and will move around Los Angeles to accommodate different areas.

MeetMingleMove was created by a small group of friends originally from the East Coast. When they moved to Los Angeles, they all shared the common frustration of finding the perfect roommate. They knew there had to be a better, more productive way to weed out individuals whom you had zero chemistry with. When you search for roommates online, you simply cannot build instant rapport. Many of us have moved in with roommates we barely knew and dealt with many issues.

The next event is October 23 from 7 pm to 9:30 pm at Bodega Wine Bar in Santa Monica. It’s free with an RSVP, and carafes of wine start at $12.
