First “Bionic” Pop Artist Viktoria Modesta Launches Music Video

Forget what you know about disability and meet Viktoria Modesta, the world’s first bionic pop artist. The singer, whose left leg amputated when she was 20, unveiled a new music video this week taking the media by storm as she fronts the Born Risky Campaign.



“I think people have always found it hard to know what to think or feel about an amputee who wasn’t trying to be an Olympian. In sports, ‘overcoming’ a disability makes you a hero, but in pop there is no place for these feelings,” said Modesta in a recent interview to the Daily Mail.

Put together innovation, tech and Lady Gaga’s influence, the video is a you must watch at Post by Channel 4.
