Between late appointments, pushy sales people and sticker shock, finding the perfect wedding dress can quickly turn into a frustrating nightmare for any blushing bride.
Floravere, the first direct-to-consumer luxury bridal brand, is putting convenience back into the bride’s hands by delivering sample wedding gowns directly to their doorstep.
Molly Kang, the founder of Floravere, started her company out of her own frustration of finding her wedding dress. After searching through boutique shops and dealing with high pressure sales people and long turn around times, she decided there had to be a better way.
Kang wanted brides to have the ability to purchase a luxury wedding dress the way you purchase a blouse: online, direct from the makers, the convenience of trying on dresses in the comfort of your own home and an easy return.
Floravere’s dresses are made to order and are crafted by artisans from the former ateliers of Monique Lhuillier, Dior, Zac Posen and Reem Acra. The brand’s inaugural collection of beautifully designed, thoughtfully constructed luxury wedding gowns features a variety of styles and silhouettes, all under $4,000.00.
Brides are able to select three samples from their collection to be shipped to their doorstep and mailed back with a pre-paid label within three days. Each dress does come with a $45/dress sample fee that is credited back with purchase. Unlike the bridal stores with a single size, Kang offers XS/S and M/L to cater to all her customers and plans to offer more specialized sample sizes in the future.
Once a dress is selected, Floravere offers an assortment of customizations tailored to each bride’s style including train length, sleeve length, waistlines, monogramming, and more. And the best part, the dress arrives within 10-15 weeks. In anticipation of the special delivery, the company will send the bride updates via text or email on the progress of their dress.
Floravere is only able to offer their signature Bride Box in the United States at this time.
