Dome9 Security Raises $8.3 Million
Dome9 Security calls the Bay Area home and builds cloud security SaaS platforms. The team announced that they successfully closed a Series B round worth $8.3 million led by ORR Partners, with participation from JAL Ventures, Pinnacle, Lazarus Israel Opportunity Fund and Opus Capital Ventures.
Euroscreen Securies $17.8 Million Series B
Euroscreen focuses their drug development efforts on women’s health, and their work helped them secure $17.8 million (16 million Euro) in funding during their recent Series B round. The round was jointly led by SFPI-FPIM and Fund+, with participation from Capricorn Health-Tech Fund and earlier backers of the company.
Pioneer Square Labs Brings in $12.5 Million
The Seattle based startup studio Pioneer Square Labs officially raised $12.5 million from 13 different VC firms and over 50 individual angel investors. Every dollar will be funneled into their program, which helps create and launch new startups in the area.
ZeeMee Hauls in $5.8 Million
ZeeMee wants to help students bring their college applications to life, and they’ve successfully raised a $5.8 million in Series A funding led by BlueRun Ventures.
AARP and JP Morgan Team Up
AARP and JP Morgan Asset Management have just teamed up to form a $40 million AARP Innovation Fund to back startups that improve the lives of people over 50 years old.
Trident Captial is Raising $200 Million
Trident Capital, a Palo Alto growth capital firm is raising $200 million for a new fund, according to an SEC filing that states the first sale has yet to occur.
