Funny or Die, the viral comedy website renowned for such masterpieces as “The Landlord” (featuring Will Ferrell and his toddler landlord) and Zach Galifianakis’s ‘Between Two Ferns’ series, has made a surprising move into meteorology and just launched its own weather app. And, just to make things clear, it is in fact a functional weather app that tells you real things about the weather (but, um, unreal things about the weather, as well).

Called Funny or Die Weather, the new weather app sources data from Weather Underground, so it actually provides accurate hourly- and 5-day forecasts, as well as information on wind speeds and direction, humidity levels, and all that good stuff. What makes the app so unique, though, is that it also provides you with jokes from the Funny or Die staff. The jokes are listed as “weather fact[s] of the day”, but one read through each of these facts makes it blatantly clear that they’re not actually founded on real science or truths.

Some of the jokes on the Funny or Die Weather app include winners like:

“Behind every couch on the sidewalk, there’s a disgusting story.”

“The ancient Greeks believed each wind had a name and personality, but c’mon, man.”

The Funny or Die Weather app is free, and you can download it now from the App Store.
