Built In Colorado today reported that Glavanize has made the decision to expand nationally following an $18 million funding round. The plan as set forth by Jim Deters, Founder of Galvanize, is to expand gSchool offerings, revamp the San Francisco SoMa office, and open campuses in Denver and Fort Collins.

The funding is coming primarily from University Ventures with other independent investors on the side, and Deters wants to also leverage this funding opportunity to connect with as many companies as he can.

“Our goal at Galvanize over the next five years is to build a new mode of education that aligns working and learning into the same context,” says Deters.
