Ever wonder how football players get their hulking shoulders or basketball players get their toned calves? Go Pro Workouts has partnered with pro athletes like Jamaal Charles of the Kansas City Chiefs and Brandon Jennings of the Milwaukee Bucks to bring you their exact training programs.

For $99.99 per eight weeks – now on sale for $49.99 – you get access to exercise videos and instructions on how to train like the pros. You can also track your progress and even hear the pros’ playlists.

Below, cofounder Jared Antista shares his vision for Go Pro Workouts.

Tech Cocktail: What was the inspiration behind Go Pro Workouts?

Jared Antista: We started this company because we saw a void in the marketplace. Having all been high school and collegiate athletes and receiving sub-par workout programs through our careers, we wanted to find out what the pros did to prepare for their upcoming seasons.

Tech Cocktail: Who is your greatest competition, and how do you differentiate yourself?

Antista: The fitness segment is certainly crowded. There is P90x, Insanity, Cross-Fit, personal trainers, the list goes on and on. What makes us unique is that we are bringing to the table the exact workout regiments of today’s pro athletes. We are highlighting all aspects of their programs covering cardio, speed, agility, strength, and even nutrition training. We add a personal connection to the athlete, showcasing the pro in exercise videos.

Tech Cocktail: What’s one quirky fact about your team?

Antista: At every Go Pro Workouts photo and video shoot, we challenge the pro athlete at their game. In our 1×1 basketball game with Brandon Jennings, we saw Brandon go through [CEO] Joe Lamoureux’s legs and then turn it into a 360 dunk. Total domination.

As a startup, we know how to bootstrap. Ever have five guys crashing in one hotel room? It’s not always pretty.

In the end, we love what we do. We love the impact our product can make on the lives of today’s younger athletes and we have a heck of a time traveling around the country and working with today’s best athletes.
