SXSW is an awesome time, but it only comes once a year. The next best thing we get to it is the SXSW V2V that happens in Las Vegas every summer – this year it’ll take place from July 19 to 22.

This is an amazing event for startups to get involved with, and it was announced today that Dallas-based Governor has officially been selected for a spot in the Startup Spotlight at SXSW V2V this year. They were selected from thousands of applicants, and they’ll be presenting alongside only 15 other startups.

“We’re extremely excited to showcase at an event that specifically highlights startups and investors from around the world,” says Travis McElroy, founder of Governor. “Governor’s been in production for the past several years as we’ve been researching and collecting the ideas and needs behind our clientele to make sure Governor is most useful for agencies – big and small – as well as freelancers. We are 100 percent committed to making content management and web design a much easier and visual process.”

Governor’s cloud based content mastery system and easy to use website authoring tool caught the eyes of the committee even though they won’t be publicly available until August 2015. The team created Governor to make life better for people who really care about building and managing great websites.

If you’re interested in giving it a test try head on over to their website to get a free, early signup before the official release. We wish Governor the best of luck in July!
