“Hiver” Makes Gmail Even More Fundamental for Businesses

There are many tools that any company can use every day in order to effectively administrate a business, especially ones with an Internet-based component. However, not many are as useful as Gmail, especially in the way that it merges with Google’s other services.

The email service from Google has over 900,000 million users (and much more accounts) worldwide and, along with the Gmail account, users also you have access to several other applications of Google, such as Calendar, Drive, Youtube, Google+, and more, all of which are useful to all businesses, particularly when using Gmail for Work.

Being the most used email service in the world, it comes as no surprise to see that there are a huge number of softwares and services designed to boost Gmail even further. One example is Hiver, which makes Gmail a robust platform for customer support, sales and shared inboxes.

Hiver takes advantage of some Gmail features to improve it and make it work in favor of companies. For example, here is how this service uses (shared) Gmail labels so that companies can enhance their customer support:

  • Delegate emails: by adding a label like “Task: Paul” to an email, a customer support query is assigned to Paul, and that email (and all follow-ups) sync to all mailboxes.
  • Change the status of a query: with labels like “Status: Done”, completed queries can be easily highlighted. These labels will also sync in the mailbox of everyone in the company.

It is then easy to see how Hiver brings to Gmail almost everything a company needs to run a business. Some of its other main features include email reminders and email scheduling, email notes, shared email templates, and shared contacts for sales and support.

Whatever way companies use Gmail, it is certain that it is a great tool for any business, especially the ones online-based. Not only it allows for an easy and effective management of the inbox, with the features already mentioned, but it also has a perfect connection with other useful Google applications, making it the number one choice for most businesses.
