I don’t know how familiar you are with the workings of SlideShare, but in case you didn’t know this, SlideShare gets more than 70 million visitors a month. That’s right, 70 million. So if you haven’t taken the opportunity to reach out to that audience by posting content on SlideShare, you’re missing out.

Here’s the thing, though: in order for your presentation to get a significant attention, your presentation needs to be featured on the front page of SlideShare. Here’s the other thing: the front page seems to be updated pretty infrequently. This might discourage you, but don’t let it! Getting your presentation on the front page is achievable. There are several different strategies you can use to do this, and you will probably want to use a combination of them to ensure greater success.

The marketing team at Venngage reached out to thirteen different content experts (including Michael Brenner and Ayesha Ambreen) who have all had their presentation featured on the front page of SlideShare. Some key tips include: “sticking to a niche topic”; “use a simple, stark, yet professional design”; “tell a compelling story”; and “make the first three slides count.”

This infographic offers actionable tips from those thirteen content experts.
