As it turns out, the most interesting man in the world doesn’t drink Dos Equis, he drinks wine.  Specifically wine from Leonhardt Vineyards, because, well, he owns it.  He also owns a baseball league and a dozen collegiate summer league baseball teams.  And he’s starting a stock exchange.  And he holds more than twenty patents to treat heart disease.  He has a venture fund.  Oh, and he’s running for governor of California in 2014.  Don’t you feel lazy (I do).

His name is Howard J Leonhardt, and his personality is so magnetic that he sticks to refrigerator doors.

Tech Cocktail caught up with Leonhardt to learn more about the California Stock Xchange, how it differs from the NYSE, and what sorts of companies will participate.  We also learn more about Leonhardt’s campaign for governor and his advice to entrepreneurs on building a brand.

Watch the full video with Howard Leonhardt.  The interview was filmed at a Tech Cocktail Sessions event where Leonhardt spoke in San Francisco on August 29, 2012. It is also part of the Tech Cocktail Conversations podcast – subscribe on iTunes.
