There’s rarely a photo post on Reddit that isn’t powered by Imgur these days; they are the internet’s visual storytelling community after all. A big part of their success is the fact that Imgur has been continually updating their image viewing platform to maintain at the head of the pack.

Recently they introduced yet another update to the platform called Topics, a feature that allows Imgurians to discover content related to particular interests and subjects. It focuses on exploration, sharing, and discussion about the best visual stories the internet has to offer.

Topics will appear as new selections on the main navigation pane of Imgur, making it easy for Imgurians to browse the stories that are most interesting to them. At launch Topics will include categories like Funny, Awesome, Reaction, and The More You Know.

“Imgur has always listened to its community, and the introduction of Topics is no exception,” says Sam Gerstenzang, Director of Product at Imgur. “Our launch of tagging this past summer demonstrated the power of the community to organize images around topics that Imgurians care about. With Topics, we’re making it even easier to explore that content in depth, while refining tagging to allow our community to shine.”

TL:DR, Imgur introduces Topics to make it easier than ever to explore the stories you love most. Topics allows Imgurians to browse content related to particular interests and subjects, and makes it easy for creators to categorize their own posts to make sure they’re seen by more Imgurians.
