Jenn Lim of Delivering Happiness: “Remember Your Higher Purpose”

Zappos was voted the #11 best place to work in 2012 by Fortune, partly thanks to its yearly Culture Books: a collection of employees’ views on the company culture and core values – like delivering “WOW,” embracing change, and creating fun “and a little weirdness.”

And behind those Culture Books is Jenn Lim. Lim is the CEO and chief happiness officer of Delivering Happiness – originally a book by Tony Hsieh, now a movement and a community promoting fulfillment at work and elsewhere.

Lim joined Hsieh to speak at our SXSW #StartupLife Celebration on Saturday, when she talked about what Delivering Happiness means for startups – make employees happy and everything else comes naturally – and her favorite things about the startup life.
