Juan Diego Calle of .CO: The Most Exciting Part of SXSW Is the Number of People Starting Companies

If you’ve scored a .co domain name, you can thank Juan Diego Calle, CEO of .CO Internet. His company launched .co in July 2010 and has since seen over 1 million domain names registered. Calle also invests through STRAAT Investments and learned some entrepreneurial lessons starting Latin American pay-per-click network TeRespondo.com (sold to Yahoo! in 2005) at age 20.

Calle shared his insights at our SXSW #StartupLife Celebration Saturday (the #StartupLife Celebration is presented by .CO), including the 5 keys to the company’s explosive growth, the biggest challenge faced by any startup, and how the interconnectedness of our world makes startups possible.  Here’s the video:
