The word disruption gets tossed around a lot these days, and it seems that everybody has their own definition of what it means. But for Graham Gibson – CEO of Kandypens – it goes no further than the dictionary definition of the word:
May 6 marked the date when Gibson and Kandypens disrupted, as they say, the entirety of the tech industry with an innovative and smart portable vaporizer device. I told you guys to keep your eyes peeled for the K-Vape Micro-DX last month, and Gibson has finally launched his Indiegogo campaign for it.
It’s the result of the culmination of over one full year of research and development by Kandypens. The K-Vape Micro-DX is the industry’s first micro, digital, and portable vaporizer.
“The K-Vape Micro-DX offers unparalleled features not seen in traditional vaporizers, both desktop or portable,” reads the Indiegogo page.
Boasting an OLED screen, a 30 second heat up time, six to eight hours of battery life, over 80 temperature settings, and technology that remembers your preferences, it truly is a sight to behold. Or, as the Kandypens team is fond of saying, it has a better memory than your own mother.
Gibson is seeking $50,000 in total funding to continue the production of the product after the campaign is over. Yes, you heard it right: he already has a warehouse full of a batch of the K-Vape Micro-DX, but they want to be able to keep producing and shipping after they clean out of their current stock, hence the funding goal.
And if you’re dying to get your hands on one they’ve knocked the price down from $249 to $150 for the duration of their Indiegogo campaign while supplies last. Given the past success of their crowdfunding campaigns, I’d encourage you to act sooner rather than later: Kandypens is an incredibly popular brand amongst consumers.
