Black Girls CODE and the Latino Startup Alliance have teamed up to create La TechLa, a program that will teach young women tech skills in 14 cities, including Miami. La TechLa has launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise $3000, which Google has said it will match dollar for dollar if the money is raised by this Friday.

They are currently raising money  to empower young girls of color, by introducing them to coding, and to educate girls’ families on how to help support their girls through STEM education.
