Drinkboard, the app that lets users buy a round of drinks for their friends, yesterday announced a rebranding: The app is now called ItsOnMe after a year of working to obtain the new trademark.

The hospitality-centric mobile gifting app can be used to send drinks to friends; redeem drinks you’ve been gifted, right from your phone; and find hot locations to get together with friends.

The ItsOnMe team plans to celebrate its new identity by throwing parties for users to attend. According to the company blog:

“As a little bonus for those of you who take a screen shot of your new ItsOnMe home screen and share it, you will be the first group invited to our January 2014 parties in Las Vegas.  Just post “Join me on ItsOnMe, the easiest way to buy a friend a drink and say thank you or congrats.”

As Drinkboard, ItsOnMe won Tech Cocktail Week’s Hottest Showcasing Startup in Las Vegas in July. Check out the app in all its newly branded glory on the company’s website.
