It’s no secret that our office culture is slowly killing us. Hours upon hours in front of a computer screen, sitting on our asses, sipping our $5 caramel lattes is no way to maximize our lifespans. With this knowledge, the trend of standing desks in office spaces has been gaining popularity. Standing while at work can improve your posture (Note: I immediately sat up straighter as I was typing that), help strengthen your core, and keep your metabolism boppin’.

One company that is working to make us super healthy productivity machines is iSkelter with their Lift Pro electric standing desk. The Phoenix, AZ based company has created a fully electric sit-to-stand desk that lets you program in your optimal sitting and standing height and commits it to the desk’s settings memory so you can easily change it from a sitting desk to a standing desk with the press of a button.

Besides the automated height settings, this desk comes with a ton of other useful features. For example, it comes with built-in docks for your phone and tablet, felt recessed compartments for sticky notes, pens, and the abstract sculpture you built out of paper clips, a stainless steal cup holder (no more raised coasters that keep your glass precariously close to toppling and pouring cabernet all over your keyboard…not that I’ve ever experienced that), and even a built-in mousepad that is flush with the top of the desk. For your office aesthetic purposes, the desk surface comes in either natural or hazelnut and for the legs you can choose from white, grey, or black.

LiftPro recently exceeded their crowdfunding goal on Indiegogo. They’ve raised over $28k with an original goal of $20k, and they still have 9 days left in their campaign. They claim that the desk has been tested over 10,000 times and can hold up to 355 lbs.
