Early last month MakeOffices officially opened the doors on two of their three planned coworking spaces in Chicago. At their One North State location, they will eventually offer a three-floor, 75,000-square-foot coworking space. This will place MakeOffices as one of the largest coworking offerings in the Chicago-area.

Although the space officially opened on February 1, they will continue to expand over the next two years. The space currently features a 200-person event space, and they plan to add an additional floor of space by October 1.

“Chicago has emerged as a strong innovation hub with a world-class startup ecosystem and a rich talent pool, making it a natural city for MakeOffices expansion,” said MakeOffices CEO Raymond Rahbar. “We’re excited to open our first Chicago locations to serve entrepreneurs, freelancers, and businesses large and small with productive workspaces and services.”
