I first interviewed Matt Galligan as he showed off SocialThing at the first Tech Cocktail Boulder mixer event in early March of 2008. SocialThing officially launched into private beta the next day at SXSW, and six months later was acquired by AOL.  At that point, I went to work with Matt on lifestreaming and social networking products at AOL.

Matt left AOL in 2009 to start his new venture SimpleGeo, which we covered previously. I got to sit down with Matt a few months ago at SXSW, and he shared his insights on technology trends like location, health and product development. Matt also shared some insights on failure, learning from mistakes, and how to be successful. Tune into the full interview with Matt Galligan ,the co-founder of SimpleGeo, as he joined me as part of the Tech Cocktail Delivering Happiness at SXSW interview series.
