Last week was the Challenge Cup Denver’s Regional competition, held at Galvanize. Dozens of startups delivered their one-minute pitch on stage to a panel of judges, where one company from each category would emerge as the winner and move onto the final round.
In the spirit of Tech Cocktail, however, we want your take. We ran a poll for each category (Education, Energy, Health, and Smart Cities), to see who you thought was the hottest of the group. The readers have spoken. Below are your Reader’s Choice winners.
The Challenge Cup Denver’s Hottest Showcasing Startups
The Wise App — A mobile application that scans and grades 30, 60 and 100 multiple choice questions instantly.
Asius Technologies — Hearing loss from earbud use is not inevitable and can be mitigated with Asius’ patented novel technology. Listeners will experience safer listening and high fidelity. Asius also was a top 5 finalist in Wall Street Journal’s Startup of the Year 2013.
LegiNation — website where users can research, track and share legislation across all 50 states. A free account allows users unlimited searching, reading bills and reviewing legislators. A paid subscription gives customers access to additional professional level tools like alerts, widgets to share bills on their website and stakeholder pages to share and discuss legislation privately.
Congratulations to the startups!
