Be even more social with MeMap, a newly launched iOS app that allows you to see who’s around and what they’re up to in real-time, just by logging into Facebook.  Through MeMap, people can visualize the locations that friends and family are sharing on Facebook Places directly, or via other location sharing social networks.

MeMap screenshoMeMap collects location-based data that friends share on any location-sharing social network, and feeds that information to Facebook Places.  MeMap then pinpoints activity on an easy-to-view map, so you can easily visualize what everyone is doing. Users can share their own location via Facebook Places, Twitter, or directly to MeMap.

Privacy issues have already been thought-through so you’re not broadcasting your information to the world by accident.  MeMap isn’t always on, and it has robust privacy features that go so far as to even let you delete all of your personal data.

For you competitive-types, there’s also a light weight scoring system that allows you to earn rewards.

MeMap is available for free on the iTunes App Store for iPhone and iPod.
