What better way to start 2015 than to be featured as one of five of the country’s booming tech hubs?

Miami has known this for years, but just got more attention after a recent report by New York-based SmartAsset, featured on NBC, that names Miami as a place where cost of living is low, major companies are headquartered, and notable tech acquisitions have been made. Miami is the right place for entrepreneurs to live.

The report mentioned major organizations like The Knight Foundation and eMerge Americas playing a huge role in the development of Miami’s tech community. It also mentioned that in 2014, Miami-based startups attracted about $49.4 million in venture funding over 11 deals.

Other cities mentioned: Washington D.C, St. Louis, Omaha, and Dallas.

Disclosure: The Knight Foundation is a Tech.Co Sponsor. Thank you for your support.
