Are you heading to SXSW in the next couple days? Do you already have your “must do” list of events, panels, speakers, and parties? Well you should probably revisit that list and make some adjustments because we have another “must do” to add to your schedule.

For the third year in a row, Tech.Co is giving you the rare opportunity to book one-on-one sessions with some of the top mentors that are going to be at SXSW this year. These sessions will take place during the Mobile Future & Tech.Co Startup Lunch: The Wireless Meetup. So, not only will you get to pick the brains of some super smart, talented, and successful people who have “been there and done that,” we’ll also be providing a buffet lunch to re-fuel you for the rest of your busy day.

Andrew has 15 years of experience in innovation, strategy, digital marketing, and emerging technologies, focusing primarily on consumer products and web / mobile products. Before coming to Verizon Ventures, he was the Senior Manager of Digital Strategy & Innovation at American Express and worked at futurethink, Coty, EffectiveBrands, and Aon Hewitt.

Clarence Wooten is a serial Internet entrepreneur whose been creating and building Web startups since 1998. Back then, he was cofounder and CEO of ImageCafe.com, the World’s first online superstore of pre-fabricated websites for small businesses. ImageCafe was acquired for $23 million by Network Solutions/Verisign 7-months after they launched and just 6-months before the dot-com bubble popped -timing is everything 😉 He also founded Groupsite.com, a self-serve SaaS platform for building private, branded communities of interest. At present, Groupsite.com is profitable and powers more than 60,000 branded online communities.

Kate

Kate Gardiner is an audience engagement specialist working with media brands to redefine their digital futures. She is the founder of DSTL, a New York-based agency serving clients around the world. She is also the events director for TheLi.st, a platform for women in business, technology and media. Kate has advised more than fifty media companies, startups and foundations on their digital infrastructure, marketing and content strategy, leveraging a background in international reporting and media management to make the most of limited resources.

Meghan Asha

Meghan Asha works closely with CCP’s portfolio companies and retained search clientele. Originally from Silicon Valley, Meghan’s passion for technology is deeply ingrained in her DNA. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs who taught her that an idea is nothing without proper execution and the right team. Prior to joining CCP, and with an investment from a lead angel investor at Sequoia, Meghan built a digital media platform. After selling the platform in 2008, she then partnered with Next New Networks and NBC’s New York NonStop to produce and co-host a popular Internet chat show, TMI weekly. Meghan led the technology segments, interviewing hundreds of technology companies. Before starting her own company, she advised and worked with other web-based technology startups. Meghan began her career as an analyst at one of the largest technology-focused hedge funds, after graduating from the University of Southern California. She also has her MBA from Columbia University. In Meghan’s spare time, she hosts invite-only FounderMade events to help connect early-stage entrepreneurs to inspirational leaders and mentors.

Phyllis Dealy

Phyllis Dealy is the founder and CEO of Reinvent The World ®, a new force for collective good at the intersection of leadership development, corporate philanthropy & creative collaboration. Reinvent The World connects business, government, philanthropy and communities to create and fund positive change in the world. Phyllis is a three time entrepreneur and creative strategist with 24+ years experience bringing creative ideas to life for top tier brands like Duracell, Pirelli, Sony, Hewlett-Packard and Hickory Farms to name just a few. Her diverse background includes developing multi-platform advertising campaigns, improvisational theater, brand strategy & group facilitation. Prior to launching Reinvent The World, she was founder and partner at Woods Witt Dealy & Sons, a boutique creative advertising agency based in Manhattan.

Philip Petersen

Philip Petersen is a partner in venture development studio Prehype, which builds startups in partnership with the world’s finest corporations and VCs. He has spent 15+ years as a product developer – and advises entrepreneurs and corporations on how to define their product or service – and get it off the ground. Startups that Philip has been directly involved in include Barkbox, Managed By Q, Nutrimom, Alba’s Post and Newsmart.

RodneySampsonPreferred

Rodney Sampson is a veteran tech entrepreneur, angel investor, selective advisor and experienced authority on the diversification of the innovation, entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem for all. He currently serves as Chairman at Opportunity Hub; Chief of Diversity + Inclusion Initiatives at TechSquare Labs; and CEO of Kingonomics. Sampson previously served as the 1st Head of Diversity at Mark Burnett Productions, executive producers of the hit ABC show, ABC’s Sharktank.

Thomas Knoll

Thomas Knoll provides Executive Advising & Business Coaching services through Revelry.co He has been building online communities for 19 years, working as community architect, product designer, social marketer, founder and advisor for companies including Primeloop, 500Startups, LaunchRock, Zappos, UserVoice, and Seesmic.
