This is not a drill! Netflix has officially launched an update that allows users to download movies and shows from their popular streaming service to watch while offline. No more worrying about your WiFi signal, no more paying for movies on airplanes, and, most importantly, no more buffering!

“While many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things binge while on airplanes and other places where Internet is expensive or limited,” read the statement on the Netflix website.

While this news has likely rocked you to your core, don’t get too excited. While you will be able to download every Netflix original series along with a huge selection of other popular shows and movies, not everything on the popular streaming site will be available to download. Notable absences include Friends, New Girl, and anything created by Disney. However, Netflix is working to lock down the rights to these shows, so keep your fingers crossed.

“Netflix is working with lots of partners globally to get downloading rights for the bulk of the content on our service,” said Marlee Tart, a Netflix spokeswoman, in an email to WIRED. “This is an ongoing effort as we know consumers want this capability and we are working to provide it.”

In true Netflix fashion, they have made downloading your favorite shows and movies as simple as you can imagine. Whether you’re on your smartphone, your tablet, or your computer, just click the tiny download button you’ve become all too familiar with and you’ll be on your way to offline viewing in no time.

The move comes at the perfect time for the streaming company and customers alike. Not only with this huge move bolster their fourth quarter numbers, it will attract the few straggler that have held out. And with a month until the holiday season peaks, customers will have plenty of time to make room of their devices to lock down full seasons of their favorite shows.
