On March 9, 2015 NMotion will be closing applications for this year’s class of startups who want to go through their accelerator program in Lincoln, Nebraska. Everything will officially kick off on April 27 and continuing for 13 weeks.

The accelerator will focus on high-growth software and technology businesses in specific targeted industries of agriculture, marketing, human resources, and sports tech. Affiliated startups will get access to seed funding, hands-on education, and highly engaged and focused mentors.

Part of the central philosophy that keeps NMotion ticking is the desire to create a collaborative community that’s focused and accountable to themselves, but also to one another. To that end, NMotion hired Matt Boyd to serve as their rock star Program Manager to ensure that this year’s teams get the most out of the accelerator.

Boyd, a Midwest native, is returning with a voluminous amount of expertise and knowledge related to startups; he’s a pro at moving concepts from ideas into solidified businesses. He spent the last several years working in San Francisco with companies like GroundMap and Sqwiggle.

NMotion is also part of the Global Accelerator Network a group that consists of over 50 of the top startup accelerators from around the world including Techstars, StartupBootcamp, and H-Farm Ventures. All accelerators in the network utilize a mentorship-driven, short-term model with terms that are extremely favorable to entrepreneurs.

March is quickly approaching, which means the deadline for NMotion’s program is as well. Nebraska, Lincoln specifically, has seen some major changes in the last few years and NMotion wants to keep that trend in a positively growing direction.
