Nutshell Mail, a startup that makes it easy to keep up with your social networking updates via your email, recently announced that they were acquired by email marketing platform, Constant Contact. NutshellMail is a great product and was a showcased startup at our event at SXSW this past March.
NutshellMail will remain a free service and we will continue to improve and extend the product. As part Constant Contact they plan on developing new offerings that will empower individuals to efficiently and effectively engage with their friends, fans and customers through social media.
The acquisition was announced by Constant Contact CEO Gail Goodman in this video posted to online along with the NutshellMail team. Congrats to everyone involved in the acquisition.
