In a world of multiple social networks, musicians are constantly struggling to establish a strong online presence for their fans. With accounts scattered everywhere from Facebook to Twitter to ReverbNation to YouTube, it gets confusing to keep track of it all. Enter Onesheet, a service that provides artists with a way to tie together all of their online networks in one place.
The latest project from ArtistData founder Brenden Mulligan, Onesheet is like a central hub for everything about your band. The service builds off of existing content from the sites and networks musicians are already part of. That means that within a matter of minutes, Onesheet can pull all your music, videos, photos, concert dates, blogs, social streams, online stores and other content together on a single page.
“I wanted to give bands a simple web presence that would stay consistent regardless of what social network or service was hot, and I wanted it to take one about a minute to build a page,” Mulligan says.
Setting up your band’s Onesheet is quick, super easy and best of all – free. First, verify the artist name with Facebook or Twitter. Next, confirm the genre, location and URL of the artist website. Then select all your accounts (ArtistData, Bandcamp, BandsInTown, Bandzoogle, Facebook, FanBridge, NextBigSound, Posterous, ReverbNation, Songkick, Sonicbids, Soundcloud, Tumblr, Twitter, Vimeo, WordPress, and YouTube are available now) that you want to connect to Onesheet, upload a sweet image of your band, and you’re done.

One of the best things about Onesheet is its simplicity. The resulting page design is really quite striking, dominated by a background image of the artist. There’s a small widget that streams the band’s songs, and there are logos across the top that link to the artist’s presence on that particular service. Say you want to see the artist’s upcoming concert dates – just click on the Sonicbid logo at the top of the page. If you want to see an example, here’s All Time Low’s Onesheet page.
Another cool thing about Onesheet? Since the service is plugged into your social networks, it automatically updates as you tweet, post a new Facebook status update, and upload new music.
Onesheet is currently in beta, but artists can reserve their Onesheet URL now, and their account will be activated in the following days or weeks, depending on volume. Supported sites will soon include the additions of CD Baby, Instagram, iTunes, Moontoad, Nimbit, Rdio and Topspin.
In the future, Mulligan plans on adding a premium level of service for artists who will pay for more features. For now, Onesheet is a free and virtually effortless solution to aggregating all of your band’s info in one place.
