Mr. Shah is the founder of MarkMonitor, Inc, a global leader in enterprise brand protection, which offers Fortune 500 companies comprehensive solutions and services that safeguard brands, reputation and revenue from online risks. (Thomson Reuters acquired MarkMonitor in September 2012).
In 2006, Mr. Shah also founded FTF Technologies, Inc. (also known as First to File). First to File’s Electronic File Room is the world’s leading web-based, patent prosecution and management service. FTF sells to major corporations and law firms worldwide. (CPA Global acquired FTF in February 2013). Mr. Shah is also a former partner of the international law firm of Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now known as Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP). Mr. Shah received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco and his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
