Rebecca Healy


Rebecca Healy is building a highly unique curriculum tailored to startups tackling entrenched industries, and managing an extensive network of connections at the global incubator and seed fund 1776.

Prior to joining 1776, Rebecca held roles at several startups. She led the PR and marketing at an e-commerce startup where she built trust and enthusiasm for an unknown brand, and led customer development to gain the company’s first 100,000 users and grow to more than 1 million. She also served as Vice President of Marketing for a software startup, and developed and taught lean startup curriculum at the University of Maryland’s Business School. Outside of work, Rebecca organized the DC Lean Startup Circle, one of the largest, most active lean startup meet-ups in the U.S.

She also writes the blog, and her work has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, Los Angeles Times, Lifehacker, the Washingtonian, the Wall Street Journal, and the Huffington Post. In 2013, Washingtonian Magazine named her a Tech Titan. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband Ryan Healy, founder of Brazen Careerist.
