The Crowne Plaza Palo Alto hotel in Silicon Valley is today hosting the 2014 Privacy Identity Innovation (#pii2014) conference, which focuses on the latest developments in areas like mobile, biometrics, the Internet of Things, and big data. Attendees will get an earful of trends and businesses driving the personal information economy while also receiving guidance on developing strategies and best practices to build trust with users.

At the conference, Washington DC based Personal announced the launch of Fill It for iOS. The mobile app, which already exists for web platforms alongside Data Vault, is empowering people with their data, including secure storage and reuse for online forms and transactions.

Specifically, Fill It Mobile for iOS enables one-touch auto-fill experiences in mobile native apps and on mobile sites. Users can now use over 1,200 different types of data for any kind of mobile form or transaction including: registrations, account creation, payments, credit card, banking, job applications, medical insurance, shopping, and travel.

“For all the benefits and convenience mobile devices have brought to our lives, entering data on forms isn’t one of them, either at home or at work,” says Shane Green, CEO and co-founder of Personal. “With minimal developer integration, apps and companies can now ensure their users have a one-touch mobile experience on their apps and sites, including anywhere you find print and PDF forms today.”

For example, when a user finds a mobile app or site enabled with Fill It, they can tap a button to launch a virtual version of that form in the Fill It Mobile app. Users can then review their data – or add something new – and Fill It will send the information securely to that app or site and save a copy for future use.

Individuals can purchase a subscription for only $2.99 a month or $29.99 for an entire year. If you’re a developer interested in adding Fill It functionality to your mobile apps and forms, check out more information here.
