Yesterday, at a remote location in the northern Las Vegas desert, Hyperloop One performed its first public test of their propulsion system, which will ultimately be used for an entirely new type of transportation. The event was attended by media, investors, partners and friends of Hyperloop One.

I was there to cover the propulsion test and released this video. The Hyperloop One team worked closely with both city and state government officials to make North Las Vegas the home of their first test site. Today, I’d like to share some never before seen photos of their remote Las Vegas desert test site facility that are sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Hyperloop One aims for a total system test by Q4 this year. We are looking forward to future tests in the Las Vegas desert.
