Slow Money NYC
Slow Money NYC’s aim is simple. Start Small. Start Local. Invest in small, local food enterprises in order to provide a tangible, direct and immediately affirmative way to begin addressing the structural problems of our economy. Some 20 million people in the NYC Metro Statistical Area are estimated to spend $70 billion per year on food. Any diversion of that spending to local food could provide a food entrepreneur with the revenue stream for building a successful business, if capital exists to build that venture.
