Platformic Makes Web Development Easy, Really!

How many of us are true Web Developers?  Not too many right?  But we all want to have a cool web presence.  Many times things like WordPress blogs are enough to satisfy our personal needs, but what if you need a more complex site or you are a business owner that needs just a bit more?  Many times it would then be in the hands of a web developer and design team to take your site from mock up to reality.  And there is also all the peripheral stuff you would have to worry about, like hosting, backups, updating, and so on.  Well worry no more, with San Diego based Platformic has the answers, all of them for you.  They take all the steps necessary and make it as easy as “painting by numbers” as they say.

It is a full featured product that many big name broadcast companies, like Comcast and Fox Sports, utilize to power their web sites.  Take a look at just a few of their amazing feature set:

  • Create new pages quickly and link to existing navigation
  • Change content with instantaneous on-page editing
  • Schedule content flows so web content is always fresh
  • Keep corporate look-and-feel consistent with workflow approval
  • Add Web 2.0 content like podcasts and video content

The part I love about Platformic that is shown well in the video (above) is that you can upload a mock up made by a designer and create the web page right from it – pretty amazing!

I can only scratch the surface here with Platformic, so if you are in San Diego this week make sure to sign up and head over to TECH cocktail San Diego to see them in action.  They will be on hand showing off their platform and tool set.
