Podcast Recycler Connects Bundled Content With Brands

DC-based Podcast Recycler, created by entrepreneurs David Haft and Vishal Harnal, see an interesting opportunity in the world of podcasts. There’s a large audience downloading content for the devices, and there’s a plethora of free, popular content available on iTunes. The problem? Too much choice and noise out there. Their solution?  Bundle the best content together and align it with your brand so your brand can benefit from the free content and boost your offerings in a compelling way. Your brand’s icon will be seen on the device that plays the bundled podcasts, and they’ll create a music portal for your site to help boost SEO results. Each new episode gets posted to your brand’s social media accounts automatically.  According to the team:

Your target audience loves music no matter what industry you’re in. Easily launch a podcast for your brand packed with the latest music from any genre. Add your promotional episodes to the podcast, keep subscribers longer than ever before, and do it effortlessly. Your new podcast will attract website visitors, build community and take your content mobile. … We launch aggregated, curated podcasts which combine the best episodes into one focused high quality channel.

The team started by testing their own podcast first. Their music podcast, which you can find here, gets roughly 100,000 downloads per month, according to the team. Now they want to help businesses such as restaurants, concert venues, retail shops and other brands align themselves with relevant content (music, video, even educational content) to help them better connect with their target audience. Podcast Recycler demoed at Wednesday night’s Tech Cocktail DC Winter Mixer.
