Pokki, the app store for your Windows computer, today launched publicly, updated its interface, and announced over 1 million monthly active users.

Made by San Diego startup SweetLabs, Pokki takes the app experience enjoyed on smartphones and brings it to your PC. You can download desktop versions of apps like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and now Angry Birds, Pandora, and Pinterest.

“Your PC doesn’t have to suck,” says SweetLabs cofounder and CEO Darrius Thompson.

The updated interface includes a notification center for updates on apps and games, and an apps menu to manage and discover new apps. Pokki’s user base has been doubling every month since March.

Pokki is not yet available for Mac, but the team assures us it will be soon. Developers who want to build a Pokki version can check out their developer tools.
