Looking for an engaging new way to connect your audience with your brand online?  Check out NYC-based startup CrowdTwist, a loyalty platform that allows your audience to earn points for any activity they do online, whether it’s on your company’s site or anywhere else your brand has a presence, like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.

CrowdTwist basically unifies your online presence into a singular, revenue-driving platform that can really strengthen your brand.  There’s a gaming element, of course, as users compete to prove dedication to your brand and rack up points to earn unique rewards, prize packages and discounts.

Users move up levels and earn badges based on their number of points and engagement activities that they can “cash in” for real world rewards and discounts.  CrowdTwist also allows users to purchase points so they can earn rewards more quickly, thus creating a whole new revenue stream.

Their activity engine tracks interactions with your brand on and off your website, going beyond social networking platforms to include iTunes, Ticketmaster, Amazon, etc.  They keep track of who is doing what, which is then analyzed so you can see where your users are most active online, their location and demographic information, what content they’re consuming, what they’re buying and from whom, their reach and influence, and more.  You can then use that information to reward and engage with your best users.

CrowdTwist also has an API so you can integrate their software into your existing site and brand it so it looks just like the rest of your website.
