Product Hunt Raises $6M in Series A Funding

Tech rating site, Product Hunt, has raised US $6 million in a new round of funding. This news comes days after the company announced that it raised a seed funding round of $1M and launched an iOS app.

According to unnamed sources sited by TechCrunch, the round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Product Hunt picked up $6 million at a $22 million valuation.

In addition to A16Z, existing investors includes Y Combinator, Ashton Kutcher, Google Ventures, Abdur Chowdhury, amongst others.
