Move over Mickey; Orlando belongs to entrepreneurs also! That’s because the city is starting to get some attention for its growing tech scene. This year, Orlando was recognized by web magazine Techie.com as one of the Most Promising Tech Hubs of 2014. We’re announcing a contest to find the best startups to represent Orlando!

Creative Village and Colab Orlando are a just a few examples of initiatives to create and build a cohesive ecosystem in the city.

Tech Cocktail wants to showcase the best startups in Orlando at our upcoming national conference, Celebrate in Las Vegas. This will be a great opportunity for startups to get national exposure and compete for money!

It’s free to apply. We’re looking for companies that have raised less than $1M, are less than 3 years old, and have some form of demo-able product. We accept all verticals and industries. It should be a tech-enabled company with high growth potential.

We’ll announce the top 10 companies in an online readers’ choice poll. There will be TWO winners: one chosen by Tech Cocktail’s editorial team, and the other from the Orlando community, based on an online poll.
