Ringio is all about improving customer service and creating more efficiency for small and medium sized businesses. How? By intelligently routing calls to any phone in the world along with relevant information about the caller – making conversations with the people that matter more meaningful and productive. Ringio describes their services as “cloud-based rich calling services that intelligently delivers calls together with the background information needed to best interact with the caller.” Rich calling being defined as bringing a telephone call & relevant information about the caller together at the same time to enrich communication, information sharing & accelerate speed-to-satisfaction.
Ringio is an online service so to get started, all you need is a phone number (cell phones, landlines, VOIP phones such as Vonage, Skype online numbers). To take advantage of additional features such as Smart Screen Pops, Google CRM Sync, Shared Address Book or Smart Presence you need to use Ringio Desktop (an Adobe AIR application) or Ringio Mobile. Ringio Desktop runs on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. Ringio Mobile runs on Android smartphones such as the Google Nexus One, the Motorola Droid, HTC Dream or Motorola Cliq.
Ringio will be on hand to demo it’s product as a showcased startup at MOBILE TECH cocktail DC on May 5th.
