Rohit Bhargava of Likeonomics: The Difference between Success and Failure

October 3, 2012

You can’t always tell the difference between products that will succeed and ones that will fail.

Likeonomics author Rohit Bhargava realized this over time. One of his first huge failures was DCrestaurants.com, the first online directory of local restaurants. And one of his huge successes, Likeonomics, defied the odds and millions of other books on Amazon to become a bestseller.

Sometimes, it comes down to things like timing, relationships, and endorsements. In the talk below, Bhargava explains how he went from the “worst meeting of his life” to writing books with forewords by Guy Kawasaki and Deepak Chopra.

Watch Rohit Bhargava’s full talk at Tech Cocktail Sessions DC. This video was recorded as part of the Tech Cocktail Sessions speaker series. We are currently offering these sessions monthly, so check our event schedule for the next event and come interact with startup founders, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders in person.
