When it comes to web browsers, staying safe can be tricky. There are a lot of factors that go into safe browsing online, and when you take them all into account, perhaps no one browser can truly be called the safest. With cases of hackings being constantly mention in the media, it’s no wonder we are a bit concerned about how we can keep our data safe online.

According to a 2013 Kapersky Security study, 93.01% of online attacks came from malicious URLs, and US users had an online infection risk of 38.1%. You can make your browser more secure by following these steps.

1. Update your browser regularly.
2. Use anti-virus and anti-spyware protection
