Show off Your Vocabulary and Earn Money with Word Hack

Did you know that there are 1,025,109 words in the English language? If you were wondering how many of those you know, maybe it's time to start playing Word Hack. Launched as an alternative to HangMan or Wheel of Fortune, this free game is packed into a nice, intuitive, and easy-to-understand interface peppered with colors. Oh, and by the way, you can start making cash by showing off your knowledge. Yup, you read it right: Earn money right within the app.

There are a few things that make Word Hack more appealing. If you have played Hangman, for example, you already know that you have limited moves. Word Hack goes even further: Players race against the clock to fill the blank, colored spaces.

Word Hack makes your “task” fun by helping you with its color choices: Players drag letters to their matching colors on the puzzle board and are rewarded for their speed and accuracy.

When it comes to rewards, Word Hack is one of the first apps to let you earn real money by playing it. The two guys from Toronto, the founders of Blue Label Labs, Bobby Gill and Jordan Gurrieri, have partnered up with Cashplay.co to allow players to compete with others for real money.

You don't have to invest money unless you really want to: When you choose the “play for cash” option, you will be granted $3. There is only one condition: Solve the puzzle you are presented with, and you are good to go!

I see this as a great initiative, and a great incentive to show off your vocabulary. Fact is, I turn to Word Hack each time I have a couple spare minutes to play, to keep my mind fresh and to enrich my vocabulary. Word Hack is available in the App Store for free [Download link].
