If you are an app developer, you will love, a San Francisco-based startup that is empowering platforms to showcase apps, enabling publishers to curate apps, and creating effective distribution channels for developers.

Appstores’s founding team, Ryan Merket and Nalin Mittal, want to solve the app discoverability problem by providing white-label app stores to platforms and media publishers. Appstores products contain a rich feature set to allow for the management of apps, app submissions, developer relationship management, the provisioning of applications, and curation tools allowing for easy inventory controls.  It is also completely customizable to allow the stores to look identical to the customer site, thus allowing for a strong user experience when transitioning between the sites.

Their AppShowcase product helps platforms highlight whatʼs being built on their API, communicate with the developers in their ecosystem, and streamline the application submission and approval process.

You can learn more about Appstores at Tech Cocktail San Francisco tomorrow night, where the team will be on hand to demo their platform as one of our showcased startups.
