SlingPlayer Launches For Mobile With 3G

Want to watch your home television while on the go? Echostar, the creators of SlingPlayer, announced SlingPlayer Mobile updated with support for 3G networks at the Mobile World Congress. Initially the application was rejected by Apple but with the help of AT&T the SlingPlayer Mobile application has been optimized to work with 3G.

If you have a Slingbox Solo, PRO or PRO HD, the new SlingPlayer Mobile application allows you to watch and control your living room television at any time from any location. SlingPlayer Mobile App users can change channels, control their DVR and watch their favorite shows, all on the iPhone or iPod touch.

The application is available for U.S. $29.99, UK GBP £17.99, and Euro €23.99.
