Office workers and college kids, you have a brand new vending machine!  DC-based startup Snack&Munch ships snacks right to you for a great price: $24 for 24 snacks (repeat monthly orders get a $1 discount).  Plus, shipping is free!

This clever service is a great way to save money, as their prices are lower than what you’ll find in a traditional vending machine, plus you’ll get a greater variety than what the vending machine down the hall offers: over 250 items vs. around 15 in a vending machine.

You can choose snacks from several categories: Breakfast, Candy, Cookies, Chips and Crackers, Gum and Mints, Nuts, and International.  All the big food brands are represented, from Mars to Keebler to Nabisco; international brands include Pocky, Hello Panda, Koala’s March, and more.

Snack&Munch was founded by brother Farooq and Ammar Yousuf, who kicked around ideas for a startup before pursuing Snack&Munch.  The idea came from a basic one: mid-afternoon snack cravings while at work. They thought about the big, successful e-commerce companies that started out specializing in a specific market, such as Zappos with shoes, Amazon with books, and Netflix with movies. Why not Snack&Munch for snacks?
