These days our communication includes fewer words and more visuals. If you prefer to shoot a pic instead of typing a proper reply, Snapd may be your new favorite photo-sharing app with a twist – it automatically captures user’s reaction and sends it right back to you!
With Snapd you can capture a pic or a gif (just long press the camera button), dispatch it to anyone from your contact list and let the app capture the recipient’s reaction with a series of photos, later turned into gifs!

You can save the original pic and reaction gif as a collage and share it to your feed or social media. Instant gratification & #nofilter!

“The point of the app is To Have Fun. The sender will immediately see if the shared image created happiness, laughter, shock, disgust or any other emotion. To an extent it creates a new way of communication and challenges creativity. A bit like Vine also sparked a wave of creativity and more personalized communication,” – says Neil Metson, one of the Snapd co-founders.

Indeed, seeing the actual reaction to your epic photo is much more fun than getting a plain text LOL or emoji!

Snapd was co-founded by Neil Metson, currently freelance Head of Creative at AOL UK and Anthony is Senior Designer at Hi Mum Said Dad. The startup recently raised the first seed funding from a UK based digital investor and business incubator Haatch  and now work on the expanding their user base and driving more fun into our daily communication with instant reaction gifs! Current user base mainly consists of teenagers and twenty-somethings with elder folks joining the photo sharing bandwagon one gif at a time!
The app is available to download at Apple Store with an Android version to be launched soon.
