Teens In Tech, which we covered in January, announced today that they are creating a social network for young entrepreneurs.
Teens in Tech Connect is designed to be a resource center for young entrepreneurs and connect them to others who have the same interests no matter where they are located – Silicon Valley or otherwise.
I took a quick peek: the site looks like a message board, with current conversations on the left, and recent conversations listed on the right in a sidebar. It already looks like it is facilitating opportunities to work together, partner up, and learn from others’ mistakes and experiences.
In an email, founder Daniel Brusilovsky said,
We really want to be able to help young entrepreneurs, and this is just the start.
Indeed – this is a great start. To be honest, I wish this had been around when I was a teen, which was um, 20 years ago. I already had the entrepreneurial bug back then, but no way to channel it into something useful. Plus, it is so much easier to work on something with someone else; going it solo is tough.
A job board that will help companies to find interns will be rolling out in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
