In just a few short weeks, Tech Cocktail is hosting its 2nd conference geared towards starting and running a business: the Startup Mixology Conference in Chicago. Seats are extremely limited so don’t miss this special opportunity!
On October 28th, the Startup Mixology Conference will break down the most important aspects of starting and running a successful business. Some of the most sought-after entrepreneurs, professionals and investors in the world will spend the day sharing their insights on creativity, design, branding, legal issues, funding, bootstrapping, PR, marketing, social media, building teams and more.
Whether you’ve got a small business or are thinking about taking the leap, these are the people you’ll want to learn from.
Looking back at Tech Cocktail’s 2008 conference, we weren’t sure if we could top the speaker lineup. With entrepreneurs such as Dick Costolo (CEO of Twitter), Gary Vaynerchuk (Wine Library TV/Vaynermedia), Mike Domek (TicketsNow CEO) and Alex Bard (CEO of Assistly), it was an intimidating prospect. But we are thrilled to announce that we have amassed an equally stellar group of folks, and even brought back a few of our favorites.
Here are just a few of the speakers you will hear from:
Tony Conrad: Serial entrepreneur and investor, CEO and founder of About.me
Tim O’Shaughnessy: Founder and CEO of LivingSocial
Brad Feld & David Cohen: Founders and investors behind the TechStars incubator program and authors of Do More Faster
Eric Lunt: Co-founder of Feedburner (sold to Google) now CTO of BrightTag
Genevieve Thiers: Founder of Chicago-based SitterCity
Harper Reed: Former CTO of Threadless, now jamming on Harper Rules
Micah Baldwin: CEO of Graphic.ly, bringing comic books online and to your mobile device
Sarah Hardwick: Founder & CEO, Zenzi Communications
See the entire lineup of speakers here (although there could be one or two surprises… register today and don’t miss out)
We are still looking for additional sponsors for the Startup Mixology conference. Interested? Conference sponsorship opportunity details can be found here.
Following the conference we will be hosting our classic mixer event showcasing local startups and rallying together hundreds in the tech community. Hope to see you on October 28th in Chicago!
