We introduced the Startup Mixology conference last fall in Chicago to offer attendees a chance to learn the various ingredients that go into starting and running a business directly from a solid group of entrepreneurs, thought-leaders and creatives. The event was very well received, so we decided to bring it back on June 16th – this time in the nation’s capital, at the very special Woolly Mammoth theater in downtown Washington, DC.

We have an amazing line-up of speakers for the D.C. conference – here are just a few of them. We’re excited to announce that the event will include a number of great speakers, including a keynote by AOL founder Steve Case, now the CEO of Revolution and the chairman of the Startup America partnership.

One of the hottest startups in all the land is by far LivingSocial. They have been offering local daily deals to millions of people everyday and have been valued at over a billion dollars. So we’re happy to welcome back LivingSocial co-founder and CTO Aaron Batalion to speak about his latest experiences in building a billion dollar organization and a brand that people love.

Handling loads of data on a daily basis, ClearSpring has become a force in social web data analysis and the audience reporting space and we’re thrilled that founder and CEO Hooman Radfar will be sharing his thoughts on building a vision with momentum for your startup.

Coming off an inspring talk at TED, we are pleased to have Palantir Technologies Shyam Sankar joining us to share his thoughts and experiences around building a great company culture.

Bo Fishback will be on hand bringing a wealth of knowledge from his experiences at Kauffman and now as the founder and CEO of Zaarly, a proximity-based, real-time, buyer-powered market where buyers make an offer for an immediate need and sellers cash in on their local marketplace.

Co-founder of Curbed Network, which delivers intelligence on real estate & interior design, restaurants & dining, fashion & shopping, and urban travel, Alexis Juneja has been involved in every stage of company development from incorporation, to ad sales to capital raising; she now focuses on strategic partnerships and ecommerce initiatives.

Uber is taking off in a number of cities and Travis Kalanick, the founder and CEO, will be on stage to share some entrepreneurial lessons learned from building Uber as well as his other startups which included Scour, world’s first p2p search engine which was sued for $250 billion, and Red Swoosh, which was sold to Akamai Technologies in 2007.

We also have Mixergy founder and interviewer extraordinaire Andrew Warner who will lead a fireside chat with special guest Alexis Ohanian the co-founder of Reddit (which was acquired by Conde Naste) and head of marketing at Hipmunk, a new travel search company.

It doesn’t stop there! We have a dozen other great speakers which consist of entrepreneurs, founders and startup people as we look to break down the most important “ingredients” that goes into starting and running a business.
